The Kinks

The Kinks collectibles, box sets and rarities. No rock vinyl collection is complete without these hard-to-find releases from the most influential and important rock groups of their era.

Everybody's in Show-Biz (3LP Legacy Edition)

First released in August 1972, Everybody's In Show-Biz was The Kinks' tenth studio album, arriving within a year of the acclaimed Muswell Hillbillies (the group's debut album for RCA Records). The original double-LP Everybody's In Show-Biz contained a complete studio album (which premiered the all-time Kinks classic "Celluloid Heroes" among other tracks) and a live disc chronicling The Kinks' Carnegie Hall appearance in March 1972. Pressed here on 150 gram vinyl in a four-panel gatefold which includes two inserts (original lyric sheet and bonus track information).

Face to Face is the fourth studio album by English rock band The Kinks, released October 1966 through Pye Records.

With this album, the band moved away from the hard-driving beat music style of 1964/65, which had catapulted them to international stardom. It was the first Kinks album consisting entirely of Ray Davies compositions.

Kinda Kinks is the second studio album by English rock band The Kinks, released in 1965. It was recorded immediately after the return of the group from an Asian tour, and was completed and released within two weeks. Consequently, the production was rushed and, according to Ray Davies, the band was not completely satisfied with the final cuts.

The album is noted for featuring the single "Tired of Waiting for You", which was a #1 hit on the UK Singles Charts. The album itself hit #3 on the UK Album Charts.

by The Kinks
$64.99

The Kink Kontroversy is the third studio album by English rock band The Kinks, released in 1965. It is a transitional work, with elements of both the earlier Kinks' styles (heavily blues-influenced songs such as "Milk Cow Blues", and variations on the band's hits from 1964-65 such as "Till the End of the Day") and early indications of the future direction of Ray Davies' songwriting styles ("The World Keeps Going Round" and "I'm On an Island").

$335.00

The Mono Collection packages the first 8 albums in glorious mono, including ‘Live At Kelvin Hall’. The set also includes the bonus double LP compilation ‘The Kinks’ (aka ‘The Black Album’)

PLUS a lavish hardcover 48-page book including never-before-seen photos and new interviews with Ray Davies, Dave Davies and Mick Avory.

With the recent renewed interest in analogue recordings on the vinyl format, these important Kinks albums have been collected together, as their original vintage 1960s equivalents continue to command major sums on the collectors’ market. From the garage guitar snarls of “You Really Got Me”, “All Day And All of The Night” and “I Need You”, the melodic mellotron swirls throughout “Autumn Almanac” and “Days” to the bold brass characterising “Victoria” and “Shangri-La”, the full spectrum of The Kinks In Mono is here to be enjoyed anew.
