Business As Usual - Remastered (Vinyl)

Opening with the hit single ""Who Can It Be Now?,"" Men At Work's 'Business As Usual' is an album with a hugely ironic title: perhaps it should have been called ""Business Is Booming,"" for this was a huge album for Colin Hay and his band not only in Australia but across America too.

The album also features the massive international hit 'Down Under.'

Diesel and Dust' is the sixth studio album by Australian rock band Midnight Oil, first released in August 1987 by Spirit Music label under Columbia Records.

'Diesel and Dust' was produced by Warne Livesey and the band. It is a concept album about the struggles of Indigenous Australians and environmental causes, issues important to the band.

It drew inspiration from the Blackfella/Whitefella Tour of remote Indigenous communities with the Warumpi Band and Gondwanaland in 1986. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart for six weeks.

In 1989, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it No. 13 on their list of the 100 best albums of the 1980s. In October 2010 it was listed at No. 1 in the book 100 Best Australian Albums.

This early Midnight Oil release contains many of the songs and stances which they would come to be identified with. A political album, the most unconservative Oils stomp their way through the incendiary "US Forces" and "Power And The Passion".

The intense “Short Memory" tells of their anti-war agenda, while Only the Strong remains one of their most potent tracks. Unbelievably excellent.

On 24 November 1996, Custard performed on the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House as part of Crowded House’s Farewell To The World concert, alongside You Am I and Powder Finger.
1996 and 1997 were big years for the band, touring Australia with Weezer Frank Black, Beck and the Presidents of the USA, and venturing back to America (where Wisenheimer had been recorded) to play more shows with the Presidents. While in the USA the band also recorded album number 4, “We Have The Technology”.
'Nice Bird' was the first single to be lifted from “We Have the Technology”, followed by 'Anatomically Correct'. However, it was the final single, 'Music is Crap', that captured the public's attention.

“Eleventh Avenue” is Ammonia’s second studio album. It was released in Australia in May, 1998.
It was a very different album to their previous effort, “Mint400”  moving away from grunge inspired guitar rock to include harmonies, samples and psychedelic keyboards.

The album was recorded and produced by Dave Fridmann ( Flaming Lips Mercury Rev), a choice made by the band in part due to the lack of control the band had over the first album. Two songs ("You're Not the Only One..." and "Monochrome") received extensive airplay on Triple J however, the album failed to chart as well as its predecessor, only reaching #20 on the National Album charts[ “Eleventh Avenue” turned out to be the band's last album. It went out of print in March 2002

    by Augie March
    $56.99

Offering three years worth of songs from the pen of Glenn Richards, 'Moo, You Bloody Choir' is a potent example of Augie March at their finest.

'Moo, You Bloody Choir' was recorded in Melbourne, San Francisco and the band's own Second World studio in Nagambie in country Victoria. It was variously produced by Australian studio legend Paul McKercher, by Captain Beefheart/PJ Harvey alumnus Eric Drew Feldman, and by Augie March, and was mixed by Mark Howard (Time Out Of Mind - Bob Dylan).

The first single "One Crowded Hour" is a song that spins from a gentle finger-picked waltz into an epic melodrama piled high with layers of fleeting joy and dashed hope, all gathering spin under some drunken mirror ball.
