RELEASE DATE: 14th September 2018

Travis Scott’s ARIA #1 third full-length album ‘ASTROWORLD’ one of the year’s most-anticipated releases.

The powerhouse tracklisting, represents the artist at the very height of his powers, tapping into interplanetary infectiousness on each song. There’s nothing in this galaxy like ASTROWORLD. You may never want to leave…

It’s like the entire Earth shifted on its axis when Travis Scott first landed. Not only did the Missouri City, Texas-born and Los Angeles-based artist, producer, songwriter, designer, style icon, and Catcus Jack Records founder forever change hip-hop, but he indelibly and irrevocably impacted the culture. His second platinum opus Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight crashed the Billboard Top 200 and Top Hip-Hop/Rap Albums Chart at #1 in 2016. ‘Goosebumps’ [feat. Kendrick Lamar] earned RIAA triple-platinum status, the Young Thug collaboration ‘Pick Up The Phone’ [feat. Quavo] went U.S. double-platinum, ‘Beibs in the Trap’ [feat. Nav] soared to U.S. platinum, and ‘Through the Late Night’ [feat. Kid Cudi] became U.S. gold. Penning and featuring on various cuts for Kanye Yest’s CRUEL SUMMER and YEEZUS, Travis first left his mark with 2014’s seminal OWL PHARAOH and DAYS BEFORE RODEO mixtapes. He instigated a movement online—a precursor to the “Soundcloud Rap” phenomenon. Powered by the U.S.  triple-platinum ‘Antidote’ and U.S. gold ‘3500’ [feat. Future & 2 Chainz], the 2015 RODEO garnered a U.S. platinum plaque and stormed the Top 200 at #3, while notching his first #1 on the U.S. Top Hip-Hop/Rap Albums Chart. Everything set the stage for ASTROWORLD . He preceded it with the U.S. platinum BUTTERFLY EFFECT and promises of “the best music of my career.”

RELEASE DATE: 14th September 2018

Mitch James’ journey has taken him from sleeping rough and busking on the streets of Europe, to topping charts, performing sold-out shows, and now, his debut full-length album.

The album sees the 23yr old artist pushing new ground in the studio - seeking out some of New Zealand’s most well-known musicians, Ji Fraser and Eli Paewai from Six60.

Even before the release of the upcoming record, the Kiwi singer-songwriter had become one of NZ’s largest streamed artists – surpassing 30 million streams on Spotify – with singles such as ‘No Fixed Abode’ (certified gold in Sweden), ‘Move On’ and ‘All The Ways To Say Goodbye’, all earning James a place in the hearts of fans around the world.

Recorded at Neil Finn’s legendary Roundhead Studios, the world-class album showcases a maturity and growth in James’ song writing abilities. The honest and emotive collection of songs (written in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Sweden) reflect Mitch’s journey through young-adulthood exploring love, loss and life.

Mitch has chalked up a stunning list of accolades including opening 3 NZ stadium shows for mega-star Ed Sheeran, released hits like ‘No Fixed Abode’ (#1 on Spotify’s Viral Chart), ‘Move On’, ( #1 NZ airplay) and ‘All The Ways To Say Goodbye’ (6M streams) been nominated for ‘Best Pop Artist’ at the 2017 VNZMAs, performed at some of New Zealand’s biggest music events including Bay Dreams and Rhythm and Vines, and carried out a nationwide headline tour in a Kombi van.

Mitch will return to Australia this September to support ARIA Award winner Conrad Sewell on his COME CLEAN tour. He is set to perform to sold-out audiences at The Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, The Howler in Melbourne, and at the Woolly Mammoth in Brisbane.

Following the success of King Of Rock, Raising Hell (1986) raised more than just a massive revenue stream by selling over three million albums worldwide. It's a well known fact that the record, produced by Rock/ Hip Hop production pioneer Rick Rubin, raised the bar for Hip Hop albums in general.
Musically it indeed raises hell, being crammed to the brim with hard-hitting hooks, loops, samples, scratches, inventive tong-twisting braggadocio and catchy choruses.  Too many classics on this one:  "Peter Piper" with the massive Bob James bell drum sample, "It's Tricky" (putting The Knack's "My Sharona" sample to extremely good use) and the song that popularized a certain brand of shoes in the Hip Hop community, "My Adidas".
However the album's flag bearer is undoubtedly "Walk This Way" which literally rendered Aerosmith's original version obsolete. The album's timeless quality surfaces in its ability to bring together masses of fans of both genres.
