Another great personal Dylan album, 'Desire' (1976) captures Dylan at the beginning of his Rolling Thunder Revue era. Folk, Rock, Middle Eastern themes and epic narratives, the album is a Pop staple throughout. A wild collection of styles result in an album that ranks in the top of all Dylan efforts. It rambles, rocks and thunders – the sheer energy is just infectious. Its best known track and album opener "Hurricane", is quickly followed by the hypnotic "Isis" and breezy "Mozambique".

RÜFÜS DU SOL – one of Australia’s and the world’s most preeminent live electronic bands - will release SOLACE on vinyl on December 14th, the band's 3rd and most mature and thought-provoking album to date
RÜFÜS DU SOL has spent the past year in Venice, CA, writing and recording their third album, which is largely influenced by the dichotomy of the stark desert landscapes and beautiful coastline of California. It’s a fuller exploration of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s ever evolving musical spectrum, a deeper dive and a more intimate glimpse into both melancholy and transcendence.
Formerly known as RÜFÜS, the three-piece comprised of members Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, occupy the intersection of propulsive indie music and emotive house. They have managed to combine the DIY live aesthetics of rock with the euphoria of classic club culture, creating a sonic realm all their own.
In Australia, the band’s debut album ATLAS reached #1 on the ARIA Album Chart and reaped Platinum status – such success was repeated in 2016 with their follow-up record BLOOM, which saw the album claim top spot on the ARIA Album Chart and achieve Platinum certification. In Australia alone, the band’s catalogue has been streamed over 110 Million times – an incredible nod to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s unparalleled electronic talent and inimitable sound. BLOOM offered RÜFÜS DU SOL’s most iconic singles, ‘You Were Right’ and ‘Innerbloom’ and launched RÜFÜS DU SOL on a two-year international tour, playing over 100 sold-out shows across 13 countries, making them one of Australia’s most successful live-music exports globally. The band’s 2016 Australian tour, featured 2 sold out shows at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, and an epic set at Listen Out Festival where the band headlined.

Lauryn Hill is best known for being a member of The Fugees and for her critically acclaimed solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which won numerous awards, broke several sales records and was listed by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest albums of all time.
The acoustic MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 double album from Lauryn Hill came nearly 4 years after the first solo album and gives an insight in her deeper thoughts and emotions about her life, artist, the judicial system (in "Mystery Of Iniquity") and spiritual side. Lengthy intros, conversations and deeply personal songs like "Conquering Lion" accompanied with her acoustic guitar, with the audience add to the intimate performance in her typical raspy voice.

To record their seventh studio album (not counting soundtracks and greatest hits compilations), Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox worked on a few songs in London and then checked into the old Mayflower Hotel in New York. “I’d bought a 12-track recorder and had it sent to a suite, where Columbian bass player Chucho Merchan was residing. “We wrote and recorded most of the songs for We Too Are One in the hotel, with Chucho operating the 12 track.”
They then brought Jimmy Iovine to Paris to co - produce. The rest of the album was completed in the back garden of Stewart’s home in Encino, California, where Annie recorded most of her vocals and harmonies. “We Too Are One” also has a Grammy nominated long form video, which follows Dave and Annie around the world as they perform songs from this album, along with their classic hits such as “We Too Are One” and “Revival” which opened their set with a flavour of 70’s Stevie Wonder classic funk, in contrast to classic ballads such as “Angel,” “The Miracle of Love” and “When the Day Goes Down.

Recorded in 2003 before Funeral, the Arcade Fire EP is often overlooked in favour of the exceptional music that followed it. But this collection of seven early tracks introduced fans to key Arcade Fire themes and styles and as such is an important (and relatively rare) part of their discography. The tracklist includes an early version of Neon Bible highlight ‘No Cars Go’ as well as ‘Headlights Look Like Diamonds’ which they revived during the Reflektor tour.

Elvis Presley re-established himself as The King of Rock and Roll with Elvis, the widely-seen “comeback special” broadcast on NBC at the end of 1968. The show’s many highlights included laid-back live performances recorded in the round before a small audience and featuring a powerful ensemble—including guitarist Scotty Moore and drummer D.J. Fontana, both part of Elvis’ original, classic backing band. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elvis, both electrifying, intimate “sit-down” sets will be released widely on vinyl for the first time in a 2LP package with a newly created gatefold sleeve.
