Bring Me The Horizon are poised to release their sixth studio album, and follow up to the Platinum selling #1 Aria album ‘That’s The Spirit (2015) after spending the summer writing and recording in Los Angeles, with Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish handling production. What has transpired is one of their most exhilarating, genre crossing albums to date.

Oli adds “amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion. It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird, and wonderful than anything we’ve done before.”

Whilst amo will have some surprises, it very much sticks to the bands successful fan pleasing formula of massive stadium bouncing rocks songs with huge singalong choruses.

The Complete RCA Album Collection (23CD)

Configuration: 23 CD set in clamshell box with booklet

Audio playing time: 20:48:53

Emanuel Ax has been classed among the master pianists ever since his victory at the inaugural Arthur Rubinstein Competition in 1974. His long association with RCA began the very next year, with a spellbinding disc of Chopin and Liszt transcriptions (“virtuosity of the Michelangeli or Pollini class here”, wrote Gramophone). Over the next 12 years he released 23 albums on the label, spanning much of the great piano literature, and the complete set of his RCA recordings is now reissued by Sony Classical for the first time.

With a 19th-century focus, the collection contains Ax’s famed Chopin (“all the relaxed fluency and tonal elegance of a master pianist” ” – Gramophone), Beethoven (“Ax is a first-rate Beethoven player” – Gramophone), Brahms (“Deeply felt and exuberant” – New York Times), Schubert (“a diligent and responsive Schubertian” – BBC Music Magazine) and many other classic recordings. 6 LPs appear for the first time on CD in this edition, remastered from the original analog masters using 24 bit / 192 kHz technology. The set comes with facsimiles LP-sleeves and –labels plus booklet with full discographical notes.

Charles Munch Conducts Berlioz (10CD)

Charles Munch Conducts Berlioz (10CD)

by Charles Munch

The new release brings together the complete RCA Berlioz recordings of Charles Munch Conducting the Boston Symphony, including both the mono and stereo versions of the Fantastic Symphony and Romeo and Juliet as well as the hard-to-find Summer Nights with Victoria de los Angeles. Discographiesneatly articulated the special Munch-Berlioz affinity: "This Alsatian-born conductor's mercurial temperament was uniquely suited to the composer's stark, abrupt changes of affect, which juxtaposes passages of febrile intensity with others of simple, aching lyricism. Berlioz's brilliantly orchestrated palette of Berlioz's brilliant orchestral palette ... Yet Munch's most singular asset can be heard in his Berlioz phrase ... as collectors already know, he always was at his best in Berlioz TRACKLIST, and no doubt these performances will continue to take place in the

Claudio Abbado Conducts Mozart (5CD)

Claudio Abbado Conducts Mozart (5CD)

by Claudio Abbado

Claudio Abbado and the Berlin Philharmonic once again defy the inexorable progress of period performance in exhilarating accounts of Mozart using modern instruments,” opined Gramophone. The new 5-CD reissue of these recordings from the early 1990s includes several favourite symphonies, the Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola, the Masonic Funeral Music, a serenade and divertimento as well as the C minor Mass, of which “Abbado’s performance is wide-ranging, delivering most satisfyingly on every aspect of this hugely varied score. He has an impressively unified team at his disposal, with a superb quartet of singers: in fact Bonney and Auger are as well matched as you could reasonably expect to find in the impossibly demanding Domine Deus duet” (Music-Web International).

Pierre Monteux - The Complete RCA Stereo Recordings (8CD)

No great conductor was more versatile than Pierre Monteux, whose RCA stereo recordings are collected in Sony’s new reissue. This legendary Frenchman made his name in Paris collaborating with Stravinsky, Debussy and Ravel and premiering many of their greatest works, including Petrushka – included here in his peerless 1959 Boston Symphony recording. Monteux was equally at home in French, Russian and German repertoire. Among the numerous other treasures in this new 8-CD set are his unsurpassed recordings of the Franck D minor with the Chicago Symphony; his versions of Tchaikovsky’s last three symphonies (“the beautiful playing of theBoston Symphony and Monteux’s refusal to get hysterical remain all of a piece” – ClassicsToday); the first CD release of Strauss’s Death and Transfiguration from 1960 (“The maître’s last word from San Francisco is a particularly eloquent illustration of how well a French conductor can play German music” – High Fidelity); as well as his complete Rome Opera recording of Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice (“With the noble Orfeo of the great Risë Stevens, and the masterful, sublime conducting by the peerless Pierre Monteux, this is an Orfeo for the ages” – Fanfare).

by Paul Simon
Legendary songwriter, recording artist and performer Paul Simon will release his 14th studio album – In The Blue Light – on September 7.  Produced by Simon and Roy Halee, who have worked together since the 1960s, the album features a talented cast of musicians who have joined Simon to lend fresh perspectives on 10 of the artist's favourite (though perhaps less-familiar) songs, drawn from his unparalleled body of work.

Revisiting his repertoire, Simon has selected songs originally appearing on There Goes Rhymin' Simon (1973),  Still Crazy After All These Years (1975), One-Trick Pony (1980), Hearts and Bones (1983), The Rhythm of The Saints (1990), You're The One (2000) and So Beautiful Or So What (2011), refreshing and transforming the compositions through new arrangements and collaborations.

Among the many musicians joining Simon on In The Blue Light are jazz icons trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, guitarist Bill Frisell, and drummers Jack DeJohnette and Steve Gadd.  Two of the compositions recorded with the New York-based chamber ensemble sextetyMusic, “Can’t Run But” and “Rene and Georgette Magritte with Their Dog After the War,” are being brought to the stage each night as show-stopping highlights on Simon’s Homeward Bound – The Farewell Tour.

Ghost & Heartache’s’, a 2 track bundle featuring tracks ‘Come Clean’ and ‘Healing Hands’, Conrad’s first release of new music as part of Sony Music Australia. Citing influences from emotional turbulence in his personal and professional life over the past few years, Conrad’s new music is bound to encapsulate the emotion and power so familiar to his refreshingly honest and powerful music.

    Conrad Sewell
comments: “I have poured my heart and soul into in these songs in the hopes of moving people on many levels”

Over the past few years, Australia-raised and Los Angeles-based ARIA Award-winning, platinum-selling singer and songwriter Conrad Sewell had ascended to international renown. He garnered the coveted “Song of the Year” honour at the 2015 ARIA Awards for his breakout solo single ‘Start Again.’ Next up the hit ‘Hold Me Up’ clocked over 53 million Spotify streams and preceded his debut EP, ALL I KNOW. Between touring with Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, and Kygo, he earned praise from Entertainment Weekly, Teen Vogue, Vice, NBC, and Nylon who proclaimed him to be “Australia’s next great pop export.Simultaneously, his voice carried to nearly every corner of the globe on Kygo’s ‘Firestone,’ reaching RIAA platinum status, generating nearly 1 billion cumulative streams, and entertaining audiences everywhere from Coachella to Madison Square Garden. He joined forces with the late Avicii for the hit ‘Taste the Feeling’ in addition to bringing ‘Sex, Love & Water’ to life for Armin van Buuren.

Holding nothing back, he confesses mistakes and tells his uncut story over minimal production driven by his bold, big, and bluesy wail.

**Mockups are not actual representations of items - Actual items may vary.

The story of Dave Mustaine’s fights with Metallica, which ultimately led to the birth of his own band MEGADETH is basic knowledge of every metal head out there and nothing that’s necessary to revisit when talking about the debut assault “Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good!”. It was, is and forever will be one hell of an aggressive, no-holds-barred, maniacal speed/thrash record that now returns in its ultimate version! From the new artwork, which finally sees Mustaine’s original vision fully realized as an actual sculpture to the brilliant remix by Mark Lewis (Trivium, Devil Driver, Whitechapel), which restores previously unheard parts and performances, allowing you to experience this album with a whole new level of details and notably increased sonic force. Featuring an introduction by Mustaine, live recordings covering all album songs and the original 1984 “Skull Beneath The Skin” demo, the 2018 edition of “Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good!” is a must for each and every MEGADETH fan! Now, rattle your goddamn head!
